Presentation Categories

Three Ways to Present Your Work

1. Short Oral Presentations

Open to faculty members and scientists. Slots are limited and allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the quality of submitted work.

2. Rapid Oral Presentations

Open to research scholars and students below 35 years of age. Slots are limited and allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Poster Presentations

Open to all researchers. Poster sessions will be scheduled according to subject area/theme.

Submission Guidelines

Formatting & Submission

Abstract Formatting

  • Length: Maximum 250 words (excluding title, authors and affiliations).
  • Title: Bold, sentence case.
  • Authors: Full names with affiliations and the contact email of the presenting author.
  • Text: Single paragraph, MS Word, Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords listed at the end.
  • Submission: Email to plantphyscon26@skuastkashmir.ac.in on or before 15 September 2026.

Note: Abstracts of plenary, keynote and invited lectures, as well as contributory presentations, will be published with an ISBN number in the Conference Book of Abstracts. Selected authors may be invited to submit full-length manuscripts for publication.

Poster Preparation

  • Dimensions: 1.0 m × 1.0 m (Height × Width), portrait orientation.
  • Numbering: Organizers will mark the allocated number on the poster board.
  • Header: Title, Authors (underline the presenting author's name and email), and Affiliations.
  • Structure: Introduction/Background, Objectives, Methodology, Key Findings, Conclusions, and Acknowledgements.
  • Responsibility: Authors are responsible for printing, transporting and mounting their posters at the venue.

Recognition

Conference Awards

To recognize outstanding contributions, awards will be conferred during the Valedictory Session on 29 October 2026.

Best Poster Presentation

Open to all registered participants presenting posters. Judged on scientific quality, clarity, innovation and relevance to the theme.

Best Oral Presentation

Faculty members and scientists (Short Oral category). Judged on originality, scientific rigor, delivery and impact.

Young Scientist Award

Research scholars/students below 35 years (Rapid Oral category). Candidate must be the first and presenting author.

All awardees must be registered participants and present their work in person.
